I sat down with Joe at one of the busiest events of the year, Ukulele Festival Hawaii. This was from July, 2019.

He's a great player and teacher, but he also makes a great ukulele. We talked about all sorts of things from the beginning of Kanile'a to the different ways ukuleles react to different strings.
